Mae Hong Son

after our rafting we decided to stay a couple of nights in the aforementioned place prior to going south. It was very nice but I had a cold the whole time (from drinking too much river water). After a late start to the day we gained access to a scooter and drove up some hills. First one had a nice temple on the top - very peaceful and i bought a wooden face.

Following this we rode out to a cave where fish swim under a mountain - aptly named fish cave. We got to feed the fish big dead cicadas amongst other goodies.

Then into the highlands to see a waterfall (which was quite nice) a palace (that we couldn't find) and also to taste some tea (which was good). Bit of a struggle for the scooter going up the hills.
